PAISA 108 PRIVATE LIMITED respects your right to control your personal information. This page explains how you can request deletion of your Paisa 108 account and associated personal data, including cases where you only shared information for a credit eligibility check and did not create a full customer login.

Account & Data Deletion Policy

Last Updated: 30 May 2026. This page applies to personal data processed by Paisa 108 through its website, mobile application, digital platform, customer support channels, and loan facilitation services.

Important: Deletion is available for eligible personal data. Some records may be retained where required for active loans, unpaid dues, legal obligations, regulatory compliance, fraud prevention, audit, accounting, dispute resolution, system backup, or enforcement of agreements.

1. How to Request Deletion

You can request deletion at any time — whether you created a loan account or only shared data for a credit check.

Steps

  1. Send an email from your registered email ID to grievance@paisa108.com.
  2. Use the subject line: Account/Data Deletion Request.
  3. Provide the verification details listed below.
If you do not have an account but believe Paisa 108 has processed your information during a credit eligibility check, include the phone number or email used so that we can locate your records.

2. Verification Details Required

To protect customer accounts and prevent fraudulent deletion requests, Paisa 108 may verify your identity before processing the request.

  • Full Name
  • Registered Mobile Number
  • Registered Email ID
  • Last 4 digits of Loan / Customer ID, if any
  • Last 4 digits of a Government ID used for KYC
  • Any supporting screenshot, payment reference, or loan/application reference, if relevant
Do not send full Aadhaar number, OTP, PIN, password, card PIN, UPI PIN, or banking password.

3. Timeline

Request Submitted You email the deletion request to the Grievance Redressal Officer.
Acknowledgement We will acknowledge your request within 7 days.
Verification & Review We may verify your identity and check for active loans, unpaid dues, disputes, or retention obligations.
Eligible Deletion Eligible account and personal data deletion will be completed within 30 days, except where retention is legally required.
Final Confirmation You will receive a final confirmation email once eligible deletion is completed.

4. What Will Be Deleted

Subject to verification and applicable retention requirements, the following categories may be deleted from Paisa 108 systems:

  • Profile details, contact information, and login credentials
  • Financial and credit-related information held by Paisa 108 that is not subject to legal retention
  • App permissions, consent records, and device-related information where deletion is legally permissible
  • KYC or verification documents that are not required to be retained under applicable law
  • Support, communication, and complaint records that are not required for regulatory, legal, or dispute-resolution purposes
Backup copies may continue for a limited period due to routine backup cycles. Where applicable, backup copies will be purged or overwritten within 90 days of primary deletion, unless a legal hold applies.

5. What May Not Be Deleted Immediately

Some information may be retained where retention is required or permitted under applicable law, contractual obligations, regulatory requirements, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, audit, accounting, tax, or enforcement purposes.

  • Records connected with an active loan or unpaid dues
  • KYC, loan, repayment, credit assessment, tax, invoice, and accounting records required for compliance
  • Information needed to resolve disputes, investigate fraud, or enforce agreements
  • Data retained by partner lenders, NBFCs, payment partners, KYC providers, or service providers as required by law
  • Temporary backup records retained for disaster recovery, system restoration, or legal hold purposes

6. Active Loans & Outstanding Obligations

If you have an active loan, pending repayment, unpaid dues, open dispute, fraud review, or any legally pending requirement, deletion may be paused or limited until those obligations are settled.

You may still submit the request. Paisa 108 will notify you if deletion cannot be completed immediately due to pending obligations or legal retention requirements.

7. Lending Partner & Third-Party Data

Paisa 108 acts as a digital lending platform and Lending Service Provider. Loan-related data may also be processed by partner lenders, regulated entities, payment partners, KYC providers, credit information companies, technology vendors, and other authorised service providers.

Where your request involves data held by such third parties, Paisa 108 may assist, coordinate, or redirect your request as appropriate. Such third parties may retain data as required by their legal, regulatory, contractual, or operational obligations.

8. Withdrawal of Consent & App Permissions

You may withdraw consent for future processing where permitted by law. You may also disable app permissions from your device settings. However, withdrawal of consent or permissions may affect loan processing, service availability, verification, repayment support, or fraud-prevention checks.

Account deletion and consent withdrawal are different actions. Deleting eligible account data does not automatically remove records that must be retained for legal, regulatory, or loan-related reasons.

9. Confirmation

Once your request is fulfilled, you will receive a final confirmation email stating that your account and associated personal data, except legally retained records, have been deleted.

If the request cannot be completed fully, the confirmation or response may explain the reason, such as active loan obligations, legal retention, pending dispute, or incomplete verification.

Security Advisory

  • Paisa 108 will not ask for your OTP, password, card PIN, UPI PIN, or banking password for account deletion.
  • Use only the official email ID: grievance@paisa108.com.
  • Send only the last 4 digits of Government ID for verification; do not send full sensitive ID details unless specifically required through an official secure process.
  • Report suspicious calls, emails, or messages claiming to process account deletion on behalf of Paisa 108.
