3. Review & Resolution Process

  1. Your grievance will be reviewed after basic verification of your registered details.
  2. Additional information may be requested if the issue cannot be verified from the details provided.
  3. The complaint will be assessed by the concerned support, operations, technology, or compliance team, as applicable.
  4. A response or resolution update will be shared through email, phone, or another official communication channel.

4. Important Customer Advisory

  • Do not share OTP, passwords, card PIN, UPI PIN, or sensitive authentication credentials with anyone.
  • Paisa 108 will not ask for your OTP or password for complaint resolution.
  • Use only official Paisa 108 communication channels for complaints and support.
  • For faster verification, raise your complaint from your registered email ID wherever possible.
Any suspicious communication claiming to be from Paisa 108 should be reported immediately to the grievance email ID.

Account & Data Deletion Request

This section explains how customers can request deletion of their Paisa 108 account and associated personal data, and the conditions under which certain information may be retained.

You can request deletion at any time — whether you created a loan account or only shared data for a credit check. If you do not have an account but believe Paisa 108 has processed your information during a credit eligibility check, include the phone number or email used so that we can locate your records.

1. How to Request Deletion

  • Last 4 digits of Loan / Customer ID, if any
  • Last 4 digits of a Government ID used for KYC
We will acknowledge your request within 7 days and complete eligible deletion within 30 days, except for data we are legally required to retain.

2. What Will Be Deleted

  • Profile details, contact information, and login credentials
  • Financial and credit-related information held by Paisa 108 that is not subject to legal retention
  • App permissions, consent records, and device-related information where deletion is legally permissible
  • KYC or verification documents that are not required to be retained under applicable law
  • Support, communication, and complaint records that are not required for regulatory, legal, or dispute-resolution purposes

3. What May Not Be Deleted Immediately

Certain records may be retained where retention is required or permitted under applicable law, contractual obligations, regulatory requirements, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, audit, accounting, tax, or enforcement purposes.

  • Records connected with an active loan or unpaid dues
  • Information required for legal, RBI, KYC, audit, tax, accounting, or regulatory compliance
  • Records required to resolve disputes, investigate fraud, or enforce agreements
  • Data retained by partner lenders, NBFCs, payment partners, or service providers as required by law
  • Temporary backup records retained for disaster recovery, system restoration, or legal hold purposes
If you have an active loan or unpaid dues, deletion may be paused until all obligations are settled. You may still submit the request; we will notify you of any pending requirements.

4. Verification Before Deletion

For security and fraud-prevention reasons, Paisa 108 may verify your identity before processing any deletion request.

  • We may verify registered mobile number, email ID, customer details, or loan/application reference.
  • We may request additional information if the submitted details are incomplete or mismatched.
  • We may check whether there are any active loan obligations, disputes, or legally pending requirements.
  • Eligible deletion will be processed only after successful verification and compliance review.

5. Confirmation

Once your request is fulfilled, you will receive a final confirmation email stating that your account and associated personal data, except legally retained records, have been deleted.
